​We work with existing mentoring programs, bringing foster children into their program, and providing an overlay assisting with college readiness/scholarships, entrepreneurship and skilled trades, financial educations, housing placement, job placement and more. 

Participants can join in 8th grade and stay with the program until age 28, with the hopes that older participants will serve as volunteers, mentors and program managers.

FACTS: 

  • More than 250,000 children are placed in foster care each year in the U.S.

  • 23,000 will age out of foster care each year

  • After reach age 18, 20% who age out, will become instantly homeless

  • 1 in 4 will not graduate or obtain a GED

  • Less than 30% have a chance to earn a college degree at any point in their life

  • 7 out of 10 girls will be pregnant by age 21

  • 60% of men who are legally emancipated have been convicted of a crime

  • 75% of women and 33% of men receive government benefits to meet basic needs after aging out

  • 1 in 2 will develop a substance dependence
